Fischer TherMax Spaced Fixing is a solution for fixing external thermal insulation composite (ETICS) systems to external walls without creating a thermal bridge. The system consists of a special threaded rod made of galvanised steel with a reinforced fibreglass cone, a threaded plug and a mesh anchor for fixing in semi-solid bricks. The system is approved for many supporting materials when used in conjunction with Fischer FIS EM Plus, FIS V, FIS SB and FIS Green resin. The threaded rod with the fiberglass reinforced cone forms its seat in the insulation through the plaster. The threaded rod is anchored in the support material through the mesh dowel with the injection resin. The cone at the top of the threaded rod creates a thermal barrier and holds the stainless steel threaded plug for external fixing. The TherMax fixes heavy loads such as awnings, air conditioners and satellite dishes in concrete, aerated concrete and solid brick masonry.
