- THE EASIEST WAY TO LIGHT A FIRE PIT, CAMPFIRE OR BONFIRE—NO KINDLING NEEDED: This is the ideal starter for those that want a super convenient fire that is perfectly safe for indoor and outdoor use. Our plant-based starters burn so hot that you can start a fire with medium size logs up to two inches thick and just add larger logs on top as desired! Put the wood splitter or ax aside and never buy kindling again.
- LIGHT WET/FROZEN WOOD IN HIGH WINDS WITH NO PETROCHEMICALS: Our plant-based starters burn so hot that they are the closest thing to a guaranteed fire when lighting wet or frozen wood! Our patent-pending, water and wind resistant starters burn BETTER in wind and will light wet kindling to get the larger logs going in tough conditions (we do recommend using kindling in wet conditions).
- LIGHT WOOD BURNING STOVES EXTREMELY FAST BY NOT HAVING TO LIGHT KINDLING FIRST- Due to their limited space, wood stoves usually requiring lighting the kindling first as a separate step before lighting the larger logs. With our premium starters, you can completely skip this step and just light the large logs directly from the start!
- LIGHT CLEAN FIRES WITH NO PETROCHEMICALS, IDEAL FOR COOKING- Don’t add petrochemicals to your food! Our starters are made from coconuts, soy and eco-friendly, unbleached, uncoated brown kraft paper that gets its color directly from the wood pulp. We also never use paraffin wax as it is an oil byproduct. Unlike many of our competitors, you won’t see us labeling our product “food grade”, “natural” or “food safe” while still using petrochemicals.
- OUR METAL STAPLES DISINTEGRATE INTO SOIL OVER TIME- Only metal staples can keep the starters rolled while they burn which is what enables their long burn times. Unfortunately, plant-based fasteners either release chemicals when they burn or they burn up too soon. Please do not remove the staples and don’t worry, our staples won’t last forever. Our non-galvanized, non-stainless steel staples begin rusting after the starter burns and will naturally disintegrate into soil over the next 2-5 years.
