Especially tailored to marine use, the tried-and-tested High-Contrast-Optics ensure bright images with high contrast, natural true colour and large depth of field. The practical Sports-Auto-Focus makes re-focussing unnecessary; from a distance of 20 metres to infinity the image becomes increasingly sharper without the user having to correct the setting.

Steiner Nitrogen-Pressure-System
Fogging up or the formation of condensation inside the binoculars is totally prevented by this high-tech solution from Steiner. Even temperature variations between -20 C and 60 C do not have any adverse effects on the functionality of Steiner binoculars filled with nitrogen. The 2-way-valve technology makes maintenance possible at any time, even after many years of use.

Water pressure proof
All Navigator Pro models resist water pressure down to a depth of 5m! Special sealing technologies make this possible and ensure that no dust, dirt or humidity can penetrate into the binoculars.

NBR-Longlife Rubber Armouring
The especially durable NBR-Longlife Rubber Armouring is resistant to the effects of oil, acid and weathering. The surface always stays easy to grasp and slip-proof even in extremely wet conditions, both hot and cold.

Extreme Ruggedness
The Makrolon material used in the construction of Steiner binoculars makes the housing even more shockproof and thus much more rugged. In addition to this, the binocular prisms have "floating" mountings, meaning that they are fixed with a durable, flexible silicone material to protect the valuable optical components inside.

The Navigator Pro with Compass models include a backlit compass and offer a real plus in safety and comfort. The field of view is not influenced by the integrated bearing marks, thanks to the large compass, and shock absorbing fluid determines the direction is effective with high precision. Operation of the compass illumination is easy, without the need to change hands, and the tactile handling allows a bearing to be taken at sea, even under difficult weather conditions. The NBR Rubber Armouring also offers the compass additional protection and always ensures the Navigator Pro remains a reliable companion.
